RING SIZING GUIDE

How should my ring fit?

When selecting a size from our Try-On Ring Sizing Kit, look for a ring that feels a little snug. The ring should comfortably spin at the base of your finger, yet you should feel resistance when pulling the ring off past your knuckle. You should be able to wave or shake your hands, wash your hands, and move normally without the potential of the ring slipping off.

Keep in mind that when worn by itself, the engagement ring of our Gámos Rings will feel looser on your finger because less of your finger fits under the thinner ring. This is expected. When the engagement ring is connected to the wider wedding ring, the entire ring will fit the same as the selected Try-On size, which is the ultimate goal and intended fit.

How do I size my finger with the Try-On Ring Sizing Kit?

You must first have a general idea of what size range your finger fits into before ordering the Try-On Ring Sizing Kit. Use the this app or the paper strip method detailed below to find your size range. After receiving our Try-On Kit, we recommend measuring your finger two to three times throughout the day for an accurate reading as finger size typically varies over the course of the day. Other factors for sizing include alcohol and salt intake, physical activity, and temperature. Fingers shrink in cold environments and swell in hot ones. Size your finger over a period of two days.

How do I size my finger without the Try-On Ring Sizing Kit?

Because our rings are manufactured to specific dimensions, we strongly recommend that you use our Try-On Ring Sizing Kit. If you do not wish to rent our Try-On Kit, you can use this app or use the paper strip method.

Paper Strip Method

Cut a thin strip of standard, 8-1/2" by 11" printer paper about 1/4" wide. Wrap it around the base of your finger, mark the place where the paper first overlaps itself, and measure the length with a ruler. If the length is 59.9mm, your size is likely 9. Please see the chart below.
